1. Professional Estimates & Upfront Pricing
Valley City Mechanical provides premier residential and commercial HVAC and mechanical solutions.
- Upfront Pricing: We utilize a transparent pricing model. Estimates provided via phone, email, or https://valleycitymechanical.com/ are preliminary. Final binding quotes are established only after an on-site evaluation by our certified technicians.
- Energy Auditing & Inspections: Diagnostic fees for energy auditing or system troubleshooting are independent of repair costs. Our technicians provide honest assessments with no pressure for unnecessary replacements.
- Financing: Easy financing options are available on approved credit through third-party providers. Terms and interest rates are governed by the lending institution’s separate agreement.
2. SMS & Mobile Messaging Consent
By contacting us at (864) 533-8073 or submitting a service request, you expressly consent to receive SMS messages from Valley City Mechanical for:
- Emergency Dispatch: Real-time updates for urgent furnace failures during Michigan winters or AC emergencies.
- Service Logistics: Appointment reminders, technician ETAs, and “on-my-way” notifications.
- Project Documentation: Digital delivery of energy audit findings, air quality test results, and estimates.

3. Licensing & Professional Craftsmanship
Valley City Mechanical is a fully licensed (#7117750) and insured mechanical contractor. With over 120 years of combined leadership experience, we adhere to the Michigan Mechanical Code and local Byron Center municipal standards. We stand behind our craftsmanship with a commitment to long-lasting results.
4. Punctuality & Michigan Weather Factors
While we pride ourselves on fast response times and prompt arrivals, Valley City Mechanical is not liable for delays caused by:
- Severe Michigan weather (blizzards, lake-effect snow, or black ice) impacting travel safety.
- High-volume emergency demand during extreme temperature fluctuations.
- Supply chain delays for specialized boiler parts or high-efficiency heat pump components.
5. Indoor Air Quality & Testing Disclaimer
Air quality testing identifies hidden pollutants at the time of the test. Environmental factors in the home can change; therefore, testing results are a snapshot and not a permanent guarantee of future air purity. UV Sanitizers and filtration systems must be maintained (including filter swaps) to remain effective.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by Michigan law, our liability is limited to the total amount paid for the service rendered. We are not responsible for pre-existing structural issues or system failures caused by lack of maintenance prior to our initial service call.
