I woke up yesterday with no hot water! We had a high wind snow storm the night before so I knew that was the problem. After trying to relight the pilot myself I gave up. have a service plan with Consumers and they sent a repairman from Valley City who had the water heater relit in less than 5 minutes! He then checked for ways the wind was getting to the pilot and suggested ways to try to avoid this problem again. He waited to see that everything was functioning properly. He was very professional and I feel that he wanted me to be safe and satisfied with his work. I appreciate his service and promptness.

Amazingly kind, empathetic, and just around amazing customer service!About a year and a half ago they replaced my whole water heater and the floor underneath it.Today, my pilot light went out, and after struggling for an hour to light it myself. I called them and they last minute (on a Friday)came to my house and lite it for me.They are just amazing all around! At first I had The Service Professor tech's come out for their special $79 tune up. What a joke! They poked around and suggested that I get a new furnace, because mine was not working. They said the gas valve was broken. So I called my ASP provider at Consumers Energy and they sent out Brandon from Valley City. He looked at my furnace and the cause for it not working was the batteries in my thermostat were bad. 5 Stars to Brandon and Valley City Mechanical. Service Professors need's to diagnose a bit further. I didn't need a professor to figure it out, just someone who knew what they were doing.

Dan,from Valley City Mechanical,called 25 minutes before his arrival to our house and arrived right on schedule! He figured out what was wrong with our air conditioner and fixed it within a half hour! He is a very friendly and respectful guy and was a joy to talk to. He explained what was wrong and what we may encounter in the future with the mandates that have been put into effect from the government. It was nice that he was well versed in this subject and what we are to expect down the road. Thank you for your prompt response to our request for a repair! Their tech was able to come out the same day to look at a condensate issue we had with our furnace. Thankfully the issue ended up being a small one and he had our furnace up and running very quickly. I wanted to update my review from 2 years ago. We had our furnace replaced and ever since we have been a member of their piece of mind program. You get 10% off any work that is ever needed, they come out spring and fall to clean/instead your system pluse a few other pearks. I was extremely thankful that we where apart of this program as our AC went out last night. They came over this morning and had us up and running in no time. Plus we saved money on the repairs because of the members program. They guy who came out to do the work was extremely kind and informative. Truly is a great company.
