We had our furnace fail on Sunday. I called Valley City Monday mid-morning and at 2:00 pm, John was over and diagnosed the problem. By 11:00 Tuesday morning, John was back with a new combustion air fan and had the fan installed and the furnace up and running in 15 minutes. Excellent response and service.!! I woke up yesterday with no hot water! We had a high wind snow storm the night before so I knew that was the problem. After trying to relight the pilot myself I gave up. have a service plan with Consumers and they sent a repairman from Valley City who had the water heater relit in less than 5 minutes! He then checked for ways the wind was getting to the pilot and suggested ways to try to avoid this problem again. He waited to see that everything was functioning properly. He was very professional and I feel that he wanted me to be safe and satisfied with his work. I appreciate his service and promptness.

At first I had The Service Professor tech's come out for their special $79 tune up. What a joke! They poked around and suggested that I get a new furnace, because mine was not working. They said the gas valve was broken. So I called my ASP provider at Consumers Energy and they sent out Brandon from Valley City. He looked at my furnace and the cause for it not working was the batteries in my thermostat were bad. 5 Stars to Brandon and Valley City Mechanical. Service Professors need's to diagnose a bit further. I didn't need a professor to figure it out, just someone who knew what they were doing.

He figured out what was wrong with our air conditioner and fixed it within a half hour! He is a very friendly and respectful guy and was a joy to talk to.
